Alan Taylor was born on Stardate 236303.02 in Ireland to parents Patrick and Susan.
Military Service
Taylor enlisted in the marines the day he came of age, attending OCS on Quantico and gaining his commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 35th Regiment of Infantry. He eventually worked his way up to commanding a company of the 35th as a Marine Captain, and then becoming the 2nd Batallion XO as a Major. Taylor was given the rank of full Colonel on Stardate 240004.04 and chosen to command the 35th.
On SD241108.11, Taylor was appointed as Deputy Commandant of the newly formed MACO, which would succeed the SFMC.

Taylor is married and has three children, one of whom is currently in training to become a MACO.
