Vanhorn had some unque problems related to his physiology and Jim Scott suggested he work for an associate from a long time ago then a SubCmdr Jane Watkins. Vanhorn left academy and went to her on the Endeavour. Jim Scott had not seen or heard from either of them for sometime but in the mean time he had continued teaching science in the academy and became the Head Instructor in the department. Not long ago now in the beta fleet LtCmdr Jane Watkins returned to see Jim and was interested in teaching. Jim gave her a position as an Associate Instructor in the science department.
