COMMENTS Please join me in congratulating Commander John Pentac. He has just completed the 14 week Commanding Officer's Course. . During the months of June July and August while i was packing my house, moving and getting settled into a new home, I was unable to be with the crew or participate in the plot at the time. Commander Pentac Happily stepped up as acting CO and took command for me allowing me to do what i needed to do. During that time, although suffering from encephalitis and having to deal with some pretty hefty damage to his house from a natural disaster that hit her back in April. During his time as Acting CO, He effectively guided the then current plot as well as took control of, modified and completed a complementary counter plot and story line we came to call Dreamwalker. During that time he also recruited two new members of the crew and was an exemplary example of what a CO should be, irrespective of being hospitalized twice, and still having to deal with a damaged house. Due to his tenure as acting captain and his ability to perform his duties in an exemplary manner in spite of hardships it has been decided by the academy to grant credit for completion of the Commanding Officers course. Commander Pentac ( Loureine Solomon ) is an outstanding officer, in the very finest of any tradition, be it UCIP or any other organization or service. Sincerely Capt Shala Natai.
